International Whaling Commission

The International Whaling Commission is the global organization responsible for whale conservation and the management of whale hunting.

The CBI currently has 88 governments of countries around the world.

In addition to monitoring whale catch limits, the Commission is working to promote the recovery of depleted whale populations by addressing a range of specific problems. These include collisions with ships, entanglement events, environmental concerns, and the establishment of whale watching protocols.
