Offered by the Institute for Research for Development (IRD), the 1st Science — Business Forum for Innovation and Development was organized with the National Directorate for Scientific Research and Innovation (DNRSI) and the Center for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD) and the Center for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD). It received the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS), the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Crafts (MICA), the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIB), the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIB), the National Council of Employers of Benin (CNP-Benin), the French Development Agency (AFD), the Service of Cooperation and Cultural Action of the French Embassy (SCAC), of the Beninese Agency for the Valorization of Research Results and Technological Innovation ( ABevRIT), the National Fund for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation (FNRSIT), the Beninese Center for Scientific and Technical Research.
The objectives of the Forum were to allow participants to present their partnership experience during thematic round tables in order to create the necessary conditions for the development of collaborations between the research sector and that of civil society.
