This document is a paper on a project on the identification of local fishery species traded on the markets of Mbujimayi, DR. Congo. It takes stock of a previously implemented MRV project before bouncing back on the rationale for a new MRV project, the proposed biodiversity themes and indicators, the objectives of the project, the overview of the available data that will serve as a basis for this project and the relevance for management and decision-making.
