Benin set up its information exchange center on biological diversity (CHM) in 1999 with the support of Belgium through the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (IRCSNB). The CHM is a tool that should facilitate scientific and technical cooperation but is still not yet sufficiently used to facilitate this cooperation. Indeed, several actions carried out have made it possible to disseminate information on the information exchange center but the involvement of actors and decision-makers still needs to be improved. As proof, the evaluation statistics of CHM-Benin, fifteen (15) years after its creation, show that the CHM has so far compiled information on the WEB site without making the most of the existing database more accessible and easy for a large number of visitors to consult the existing database. Therefore, decision-makers are not really interested in the CHM in order to allow it to be implemented. This report takes stock of the activities carried out by this funding, which have improved the audience of CHM Benin.
