This document is a newsletter for the Ecosystems Alliance Programme. The Ecosystems Alliance is a partnership between the IUCN Dutch Committee, Both ENDS and Wetlands International. The Ecosystems Alliance received partial co-funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands for the implementation of its “Empowering People and Nature” program. The objective of the Ecosystems Alliance is to: “improve the livelihoods of the poorest populations, as well as to create an inclusive economy, through participatory and responsible ecosystem management.” The main themes addressed by this program are: ecosystems and livelihoods; a 'greener' economy at the local, national level than global North and South level; and climate and ecosystems.

In this newsletter, the presentation of the Ecosystems Alliance and NGOs at the local level was made. It is about:

• The NGO ACTION Plus,
• The NGO Aquaculture and Sustainable Development (AquaDed),
• CREDI-ONG,
• The NGO Benin Ecotourism Concern (Eco-Benin),
• Tropical Nature NGO.
