This study Mapping the sacred forests of Ramsar sites 1017 and 1018 is part of the preliminary project for the restoration and management of sacred forests at Ramsar sites 1017 and 1018 in Benin. It is initiated by the NGO Cercle for the Safeguarding and Management of Natural Resources with the financial support of the ITTO and aims at the development of a certain number of basic cartographic references to support the implementation of the project.
