The MAEP Environmental Unit is operational and plays its role in
accordance with its mandate. Thus, the environmental dimension is taken
into account in the definition, development and implementation of policies and intervention
strategies for the development of the agricultural sector. Projects
have complied with the legislative and regulatory framework in force by
carrying out their environmental impact studies following the
awareness-raising sessions. This document illustrates the level of inclusion of the environmental sector in this project.
