This municipal development plan, which meets the requirements of Act No. 97-029 of 15 January 1999 on the organization of municipalities in the Republic of Benin in article 84, has emphasized results-based planning and will serve as a compass for the implementation of development actions in the municipality of Sô-Ava during the 2016-2020 five-year term.
Its development is the result of a long and edifying process whose successful completion reflects this affirmed and sustained commitment of the Municipal Council on the one hand, and on the other hand, of the effective mobilization and participation of all the actors involved in all phases of the process.
This initiative to develop this 3rd generation PDC for the municipality of Sô-Ava, led by a Steering Committee with the technical support of the COSMOS CONSULTING firm, aims to ensure better living conditions for our valiant population. However, the commendable efforts of the nineteen (19) municipal councillors, whose commitment I welcome here, would be pure utopia and our vision: “By 2025, the municipality of Sô-Ava is a well-governed municipality enjoying a prosperous development of socio-economic activities, in a healthy and sustainable environment, in which tourism plays a role of lever for the development and well-being of the population”, impractical if all the living forces of Sô-Ava. -Ava did not rise up as one “man” to make this vast development project a challenge shared.
Valuable and dignified people of Sô-Ava, wherever you are, feel concerned by the development challenge of your municipality! Executives, fishermen, artisans, farmers, merchants, traders, traders, traders, traders, students, students, students, students, students, religious and royalty, daughters and sons of the diaspora, development actors, it is time for me to invite you to give your best in order to the flawless implementation of this development tool through your unconditional involvement, your citizenship, your respect for the public good and your actions of citizen control.. This document is the Development Plan. Municipal council of the municipality of So Ava.
