Created by decree No. 2428 of the Governor of French West Africa (AOF) on July 23, 1938. The Department of Water, Forests and Hunting became General Directorate of Forests and Natural Resources (DGFRN) in 2006 by decree 2006-460 of September 07, 2006, on September 7, 2006, on the Attributions, Organization and Operation of the MEPN.
And Direction Générale des Eaux, Forêts et Chasse (DGEFC) in March 2016 by decree 2016-154 of 17 March 2016 on the general organization, Allocation and Operation of Waters, Forests and Hunting (DGEFC) in March 2016, the national structure responsible for the implementation of State policy on the sustainable management of forest resources, forests and other natural resources (soil, water). This presentation therefore aims to present to you the responsibilities, organization and functioning of the DGEFC. This document is the annual activity report for the year 2007.
